Hi twistedamd welcome to WindowsBBS :D

I don't use Vista but the instructions here may help you. If you can printing them out first may save you some heartache.

Let us know how things go and I'm sure more assistance will be available if required.

Hi twistedamd. Do you have a Windows Vista DVD that you can boot from? If you can't boot from the Vista disk what happens when you try? Did you set the CD-ROM as the first boot device in your BIOS?

Hmm. Your in a tough situation. Without your computer being able to boot from the Vista DVD you might be SOL. :( I'm honestly not sure what else to suggest other than to get a professional computer tech to look at it and see if they can get your computer fixed or you can hook up the harddrive as a slave drive on another computer and backup all your important data and then do a clean install of Windows.
