    Hello,

I hope this is a fairly simple problem. I'm trying to load a typing program for kids onto my home computer from a CD-ROM. I'm getting the message:

"Unable to open file C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\WING.DLL "

    Any help would be appreciated.

You have a very old program there, as the file wing.dll and it's associated files were done away with by DirectX.
You can try this site and get an installation file for it, however the results obtained will be questionable as they were designed for a dos based graphical user interface. I would recommend creating a Restore Point.
After the file Wing.Exe extracts the file, run the Setup.Exe.

Thank you. It is a very old program I found that I thought my kids would like. I'll try your suggestion, but maybe I'll just try to find a newer version.
