Error sending excel file as email attachment

    Hi, I'm really hoping that i've overlooked the obvious and that a quick fix can be sort.

    Basically every time i try to send an Excel file (in this case a 1 page invoice) as an attachment to a mail recipient, another excel file keeps attaching itself to it.
    I use gmail, browser is mozilla but I have tried doing this in outlook express and still no joy.
    Is it an Excel issue? or email attachment problem?

    Please somebody help as no one i speak to knows what to do.

    Hi diddy1, My wife sends an Excel by email using your same sources. TB and Gmail.
    Rather than send the Excel page - have you tried "snipping" the area of your Excel page that you want to send and pasting to Word or just straight into your TB Email page?
    I showed the wife how to do it and it looks like an invoice page in the email. Neil.
