After running my Defragmenter I have been getting this message at start up!----Cannot find the "hpfsched "[or one of its componets] Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available

    OK
I click on the ok and then get this message---
Could not load or run "hpfsched" specified in the WIN.INI file. Make sure the file name exists on your computor or remove the reference to it in the WIN.INI. file It has a desktop icon in the left hand corner also. I have a photo program from HP on their . are they referring to it? I have removed and reinstalled this program but it still keeps poping up! I went to my find files and folder serch and found the WIN.INI file and deleted it. Then the message does not come up again, however when I try to print a picture using any of my photo software program's I get a message that states" cannot run program because of lack of memory" I have 256 RAM on my PC . I have had this program working all right in the past, what's going on?

    Thank You!!!:D

If you deleted the win.ini file, you should try to get it back from the recycle Bin. That file is used by legacy softwares to allow them to operate properly. The error message you received meant for you to edit the win.ini file so as to remove any calls for the shpfsched program.

If it isn't in the RB, we can try some other method of retrieving it.

After that, and at the very least, you'll need to reinstall your printer, since that what the error message is all about.
