    :confused: This is my problem; I purchased a game from shockwave and everything was fine until I had a computer crash and lost it. I contacted shockwave and they were gracious enough to send me a link for a new download complete with a new register key. I have completed the new download but when I try to open the game I get this error message every time;
    BCMDMCCP (01) +00000175 ERROR: OD : 0028 :C1663EB5
    I have been in contact with shockwave and done everything that they have said was causing the problem.......... download accelerator, spyware detector, anti virus, updating flash, real player and windows media player all to no avail. I have uninstalled and redownloaded 3 times with the same results. Everytime I try to open the game the screen goes blue with this windows error. I don't know what else to try.
    I did read some tips that told me to use (ALT)+(D) to get more info on the error but when I tried that all it did was take me back to the desktop. Can someone please tell me why I am getting this error message?

    Modem????:

    =======
    NOTE*I can't guarantee a removal and redetection such as described above will redetect and properly install your modem. If you choose to eliminate or test your modem, to see if it is the problem, please research what software, drivers, and/or setup files you may need. Modem removal and redetection can be tricky and has been known to snowball. Be prepared. (Perhaps there are updated drivers for your modem?)

    I'm not saying you will have a problem, just be prepared, in case....

    Oppsy,
    Is BCMDMCCP a vxd driver file? And if so what device or software app does it belong to? Just because a google hit came up with this as a modem related [software] driver, does not make it so. Do a file find for this. Rightclick on it and check out the properties.
