    Error Message: (C:\Windows\System32\Autoexec.NT.
The system file is not suitable for running MS-DOS and Microsoft Windows applications. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.)

Over recent months, I have rec'd this message several times when attempting to start different programs.

Can anyone tell me what it really means and how to correct the situation?

    Thanks
