error message Ox7c918fea

    Has anyone had this error crop up? I have a customer that gets it every time he powers up, it only came after the last big update from Microsoft.
    He gets error Ox7c918fea at mem 0x00000010.
    Any help would be appreciated.:rolleyes:

    No doubt one of the Updates didn't come off properly.

    Do a search in the Windows directory for kb*.log and arrange the results in chronological order. Read the install log of the latest updates and you may get some clue.

    Of course a system revert using "Last known good" or System Restore would bail you out also.

    Uninstall and reinstalling the entire latest batch of updates might work as well.
