Windows Vista Error message [FAX MAN error on boot]

    Every time I boot up, I get an error message that states "FAX MAN SERVER has stopped working ". Program will shut down and try to find a solution.

    My question is: what is Fax Man and what program uses it? I can't find any info on it.

    Sounds like some kind of fax software, do you have an analogue modem (perhaps it came with that)?

    Have a look in add/remove programs or programs and features (not sure which is valid for vista) in control panel and see if you can find some reference to it there.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I checked into the software you suggested but decided to go with Glary Utilities. It seems to have corrected my problem and there is no cost for this program.
