A friend reports a 'Windows has encountered a problem and has to close, etc' message when attaching a jpg to an email.

Event Viewer reports 'Fault Bucket 00191585' - anyone know what this means? - Google is of no help.

Don't know, but sounds like (s)he's a gamer and it's just slang for "error ".

Thanks, Guys - here is an explanation from MS .....

    Quote

" When a fault occurs, an event is written to your application event log with an ID of 1000 and a source of application error. If you send an error report to Microsoft, another event log entry records a fault bucket number that may be useful to Microsoft support professionals in tracking down additional information about the problem. The fault bucket event also has a source of application error with an EventID of 1001. "

Memo to self ... Do remember to use parentheses in a Google Search - thanks Jim !
