error message [ERROR WHILE UNPACKING PROGRAM]

    received this error message after successfully installing FLARES ENERGY GAUGE,Ver 4.51 : ERROR WHILE UNPACKING PROGRAM.PLEASE REPORT TO AUTHOR. I called the software company. They told me to remove all my vireus,firewall and spyware protections, then reinstall the software. Followed all instructions. Can not open program. They are still searching. No help.
