I was wondering if my Win2000 pro had anything to detect errors that happen but doesn't bring the system down.....like a Dr. watson thing ? So i can check to see what happened and make a effert to fix it.

    Thx

In control Panel, Under Administrative Tools, you'll find a shortcut to Event Viewer.

Quicker to get to event viewer with a right-click on the My Computer icon and then left click on "manage ".

If you open the event viewer section, you can clear each piece (applications, system, etc.) by doing another right-click and then selecting "clear all events ". If you want to, you can save the contents to a text file first from the same set of options.
