Error general protection fault caused by epson scanner

running windows 98 compaq tower
Epson 1670 perfection scanner

when opening program or using button on scanner
the following gpf is screened


ESCNDV caused a general protection fauft

This scanner used to work ok and not surewhere this issue has
come from epson seemed to think it was an Irq problem
but can't see any conflicts going on.

just hoping someone else has had simular problem or give
some inspiration. Have also removed and re-installed software
but had no effect. Regards Rodger.

 

try installing an updated video driver, should/might cleanup the problem
