Error Code

Hi
I am writing this for a Friend who is having some difficulty opening / starting his computer he is using Windows ME (thats all i know), when he starts his computer up he get this error code 06!0000:0000FF2A (or that could be FFZA) so can anyone help me get this guys computer back on line

Check with your friend if KB891711 MS security update for 9X OS's has been installed and read thru this thread on the problems it may cause and a way to handle it:

And thank you for your reply i will find out if he has this update or not, but from the problems that this is having is not quite like what is happening to my Friends computer

Just let you know that we have sorted some of this problem out by removing all from the start up program, at least for now the computer is starting up
