When trying to upgrade/remove Adobe Reader 9.1.1 I get the following error message:

    http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee218/PastyGangsta_2007/Error1606.jpg

This also happens when trying to install/remove/repair the HP software and drivers for my 7600 Printer/Fax. I've tried all the MS solutions and checked all the paths, they're all correct but this error still appears.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I just tried to install my HP software again and it spit this out at me:

    http://i228.photobucket.com/albums/ee218/PastyGangsta_2007/Missinginf.jpg

Each one of the entries says the same thing, the file is missing from the Windows folder. I'm really wondering what happened to them, since this all worked fine earlier in the week, but at the moment I'm wondering if anyone can tell me where I could retrieve these files?

    Certclas.inf
    usbstor.inf
    Certclas.inf
    ntprint.inf
    sti.inf
    usbstor.inf
    usbprint.inf
    usb.inf
    Certclas.inf
    ntprint.inf
    usbprint.inf

Yes there are duplicates but that's just the list I was given, word for word.

Go >Start>Run and type sfc /scannow
This will replace any missing or corrupt Windows files.
You may need your Operating System CD.

Yeah I needed the CD because all the backup files had been removed. Thanks though. :D
