Error 126 on Startup

    Can anyone tell me what to do when I get the following error message?

    "Cannot find import;
    DLL may be missing,corrupt or wrong version "
    FILE 'RT170.bpi ",error 126

    This happens when I log on, and sometimes when I am trying to access a file. It has keep me off my computer because the computer freezes and won't move.
    I am a beginner and an old lady who is lost. Please help.

    Error 126


    Have you used Spydoctor recently and uninstalled this software. I had the same problem recently and by chance found that reinstalling this trial software removed the error message. If you have not used this software it might be worth downloading the trial and installing it to see if it resolves your problem.
