I tried to respond to Microsoft using an e-mail address they gave me. Tghat effort resulted in the following error message
This error message is now stuck in my sent file with no seeming way to delete it and pops up every time I click on send.

How do I get rid of it?

In Outlook Express make a new folder - Sent Items Old and drag all the other sent items into it.

Search for *.dbx - include hidden files & folders and, with Outlook Express closed, delete Sent Items.dbx.

Restart Outlook Express - Sent Items will be recreated.

Drag the items from Sent Items Old into Sent Items and then delete the Sent Items Old folder.
From the above I assume you mean the Sent Items folder and not the Outbox?

If indeed it is the Outbox substitute Outbox for Sent Items above.

That did not work. I used the move to folder option to drag files. Strill have the error message.

Look on the mail server at your ISP - see if it is there and try to delete it.

Just stating the obvious, but without a domain name (most likely .com) the message can't be sent.

Now, you should be able to delete the Outbox.dbx file when you've closed OE.
