Epson 830

    I purchased one of these and cant find the option to whether I want to print in colour or black. Prints in colour automatically. Surely there must be an option for this? Does anyone who has this printer have the same problem?

    I don't have an 830, but run a 1270. I imagine the print set up dialogues are similar.

    Either -

    Insert the driver Cd and select the Online Manual option - the answer will be there somewhere.

    or

    Go to Printers, right click on Epson 830 > Properties > Printing Preferences and select black ink.

    or

    In Word, say, go File > Print and hit the Properties box alongside the printer name and select black ink.

    As I said I am not familiar with the 830, but guess that the interfaces are all very similar.
