I have a 200 watt power supply on a Dell 600 machine, along with:
    100 gig HD
    13 gig HD
    SB Audigy sound card
    TV card
    CDRW
    DVD
    Riva TNT2 video card
    56k modem
    ethernet card

I would like to replace my video card with one of the new, more powerful cards. Will my 200 watt supply be ok with that? I know on some of the NVidia cards it states that a 350 watt supply is needed. I'm looking at the GForce4440MX. What do you think???

drewbeck: Your 200-watt PS is on the borderline, but I suspect it will be OK. The GeForce 4 440MX is in what NVIDIA calls their "value line," and it probably won't be much more demanding than what you are running now. I have their 420MX in my brand new Dell 8200, and am pleased with it for general usage. It's not a heavy-duty gamer's card, as you probably already know.

Why not get the card and see how it works for you? If there are problems, then you could go ahead and get a new PS. Antec sells good ones for your needs for about $37 (I bought one for my older Micron about a month ago).
