Hi all, i recently came accross a W7 tweaker which claimed to be able (amongst other things) to enable 4GB ram recognition on a 32bit W7 Ulitmate OS. -It didn't appear to work, but I'm left wondering if this is possible & if so -how???
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.....

Are you sure the memory is seated properly? Unplug then open the case and check that sticks are inserted all the way down in the slots. Be careful not to push to hard.

Hi janni, Welcome to Windowsbbs! :)

Since you are running a 32-bit system the most RAM you will get your computer to recognize is about 3~3.5 GB of RAM.

Read this, 32-Bit Windows and 4GB of RAM.

Ditto - 3 to 3.5 gigs of ram is the best you can do on a 32 bit OS.
