Have a new laptop with Vista. Wireless connection worked fine. Last weekend plugged it into dsl internet connection. Now wireless is disabled and I can't figure out how to enable it. Hardware test says it is fine. When I click on icon to enable it, the program (slowly like most of Vista) whirls away, asks me to continue and then stops with no other message. Thanks for ideas.

Supplemental - the computer is not even recognizing my wireless router name, and the router is working perfectly. In the "Acer eNet Management" window, there is no way for me to get into "profile manager" or "settings" to change them. Basically, anything that seems to lead toward connections is "not responding "

Hi blkirk and welcome to the BBS,
Check with the information at your ISP. I would say it would have been better to have the DSL installed before the wireless. It seems the DSL installation has changed the network settings for the wireless. I hope one of the networking people see this and possibly agree :p .

My quick fix (mmmm! :D ) rerun your wireless setup.
