I'm having problems with Communicator 4.9 Mail Notification. Sometime it hangs and causes my CPU Usage to go to 100%.

I shut it down in XP Windows Task Manager.. then restart and it's ok until next time.

Anyone have a suggestion for a fix?

    Hi arkie,

I'm trying to ascertain whether or not the program is compatible with XP, although 4.79 itself seems to work well with XP.

There are no uFAQ for XP, nor do I anticipate that there will be any. I'll post back when I have some answers for you.

    arkie,

The Champions say they haven't seen reports one way or the other, on the compatibility of Windows XP with NSnotify. Here are some links for third-party "fetch" programs:

I personally do not have any experiences with the hanging of Netscape 4.79 under WinXP.
Do you have other programmes or settings?

    Thanks Ramona

I guess I have another one of those, it only happens to me. :)
