Can i just sae the files in profiles/scott/appdata/microsoft/outlook and past them in there once it has been formated?

The method I've always used (and which has always worked) is to export the email you want to save to a pst file in your My Documents folder. In Outlook, that's under File>Import and Export. I've always used pst format for exporting.

After you've reformatted and reinstalled, import those files from your backup.

If you want to save everything...contacts, calendar, to do list, tasks, etc...export the whole Personal Folder file then import it back.

    Cool Thanx!!

I did this, is it ok?

    File > Import and export.

The I clicked "Export to a File" (at the top)

Then i chose save as a "Personal Folder File (.pst) "

I then selected the whole "Personal Folder's (Scott)" and ticked "include subfolders "

I then selected the save path to my desktop

I also clicked "Allow duplicate items to be created "

I clicked finish and it took me to "Create Personal Folders "

File was the path i selected before, i gave the name as "Personal Folder (Scott) "

The encription was set to "Compressable encription" and i had no password.

I clicked OK and it saved!!

Was this ok? And how do I make use of this after i format?

Go to import and import it?

DO i back up again with my other users the same way?

    Thank you!
