Email attachments

    Hello my system currently deletes all email attachments coming in, using outlook express 6. But when I go to options and security tab, I see the check box (which does have a check) telling the computer to delete them. But I do not have access to remove the check. Any help will be appreciated

    If on a network consult the system admin.

    If a home computer, log in as admin.

    Thanks Tony How do I log on as administrator? I went to user accounts in the control panel and mine was the only account set up and it was marked as being administrator. I also set up a second account and chose administrator option but it still wont let me take the check out of the box in outlook using either account

    If this is in a corporate environment, a policy may be in place restricting access to that property. If this the case, see Tony's comment re: the sysadmin.

    In outlook express, click Tools > Options > Security tab Uncheck the box "Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potenitially be a virus. "
