    Hi,

I have various email accounts, Gmail (fine, got the notifier) hotmail, yahoo mail, ICQ & netscape. Two for personal stuff and the others for course work etc. Is there anything (not too complicated!) I could use/install that will alert me to incoming mails? Preferably an audible alarm.

    Cheers

Are you using an email client for some/all or a mix of normal email app and browser?

    And which one(s)?

I have Yahoo thru' OE/TB. I have set OE & TB to notify me but they don't. Usually, but not always the Yahoo messenger alerts me to Yahoo mail so I'm not really too concerned about it or GMail as I have the notifier. I was hoping there would be some kind of notifier I could use for my web-mail accounts ie. Hotmail (which used to alert me but has packed up also!) Netscape & ICQ. I thought at the time it would be better to use various accounts to keep different course work apart, as I get quite a bit of traffic on each account. I use Firefox 95% of the time.

    Cheers

I use ePrompter from http://www.ePrompter.com. It works for POP3, Hotmail, AOL, Juno, Yahoo! and many others but as of yet not GMail.

Hey bmh67wa cool! I'm right in the middle of checking one out called Pennocks Email Notifier 2-1-5 and I've managed to get Hotmail and Netscape loaded so far and this is a 30 day trial so I'm going to jump straight on to your link.

    Much appreciated

    Cheers
