Firstly, if this post is in the wrong forum, I apologise ( I checked under travel but can't find anything!)

A few years ago whilst staying in the Philippines, in consequence of stupidly not checking out the local electrical system, I fried an accessory to my Asus A6J laptop (i.e. the black box on the mains lead). My laptop was bought in Hong Kong, which has the same electrical system as UK.

I'm planning a trip in the new year firstly to Cambodia and then on to Guam and Truk in Micronesia and I am interested to hear from any of our members from those locations ( or other travellers who have been there) as to whether I need a transformer or adaptor for my laptop and other electrical appliances from HK or UK

I appreciate that this isn't a travel forum but if anyone wants to throw in any other useful tips, I will be happy to hear them.
