    Is this possible?

I am assigning keyboard shortcuts for Microsoft Office 2007, and if you right-click and choose properties on a desktop shortcut for Outlook you can click inside the shortcut key box and press most any key on the keyboard and Windows fills in the rest.

Example: By pressing the down arrow key Windows assigns a shortcut combination of Ctrl + Alt + Down for Outlook. What I want to do is eliminate either Ctrl or Alt and make this a two key shortcut instead of the default three keys.

I assume this involves editing the registry, or maybe there is an open source program to address this issue?

Much to digest here. I am using F8 to open Outlook.

Try the Win + Tab key and see what happens.
