Recently the sound from my computer started sounding like it is coming from an echo chamber. I've looked at the "Sound and Audio Device Properties" and can't see anything to change. I don't think I did anything, but who knows. I'm running Windows XP, the speakers are in my cOMPAQ FP7317 Screen and I have a month old computer. Any ideas??

    Thank you!

My guess would be in one of your media programs you selected a sound type in audio setting. I would be suspicious in the Equalizer interface. They have a number of "Preconfigured settings" .... and one of them is Echo / Large Hall ". Over the years I've chosen to avoid / disable this interface. ... it was a sound choice. :D:)
