I unboxed a New Dell. Installed Office 2003 and then fired up the Easy Transfer MS had given me. Have to say it was a pretty nice experience.

The main thing I was after was the auto setup of my Outlook. It added my two email accounts and copied over all my files and settings. It also brought over the Outlook.NK2 file that holds email addresses I've manually typed in.

The transfer cable would be a bit of overkill for one pc. But if you had an office full of new pcs it would be worth it's weight in gold.

    Here's one example:

    Nice

I haven't tried it, but I just re-installed Vista x64 on my laptop, so I should try it...
