    Hello purplemtn,
I don't have the exact answer for you. I've been running ECDC4 and upgraded to Platinum when it was released and never had a problem like that. Roxio has now started a Forum . You might find an answer there.

    HTH,
    Kris :)

    Easy CD

    Hi,

The way I add data is to just drag the new data as if making a new CD, the software automatically add's the old data and creates a new index etc. Maybe you could try this method ?

somehow your cd burner/reader got associated with a audio player program....try this and see if it works...

1 - Click "my computer" from the desktop and when you see your cd drive RIGHT CLICK on it and then properties....when you see "open with" click that and then "uncheck" the box at the bottom...so anything in your cd drive will not open with the program associated with it....

If it is a true audio cd, then it will follow its natural course according to the extension.....wav, .cda, .......

Purplemtn, when you open EZ CD Creator, click on data CD, insert your CD, wait for it to spin up, drag the files you want to add into the bottom box on the right, and the data on the CD will AUTOMATICALLY be imported. You do not have to hit import on the drop down menu. I did the same thing the first time I used it, not realizing that the data import is automatic. Let us know what happens.

    Making a Multi-Session CD

I couldn't tell from your original post whether when you created the original CD you created it as a multisession CD. To do that you have to tell EZCD Creator that it should not finalize the CD when it is created. If you did, that you should be able to add another session by following the instructions at page 6-7 in the manual.
