EarthLink TotalAccess 2005

If you're thinking about downloading TotalAccess 2005, you might want to know about the problems I had. The first shock was that the TA home page shoved my Desktop icons around. A couple were shoved clear off the screen and I had to bring them back. Then I had to rearrange the icons to oblige TA. My windows---online and off---are opening in different sizes. I believe I've received a lot more ads popping up over and under since the day I installed TA. I have to constantly type in my password to connect with the Internet. There's more, but you can see some of why I'm unhappy with TA. But if you already have it and are happy with it, maybe I'm just having a run of bad luck.

 

I downloaded and installed it twice and was very disappointed. I wanted to use the accelerator, but could never get it to activate, so I uninstalled it each time and just do without it.

TotalAccess2005 problems

I upgraded to TotalAccess2005 and now my system is a mess. I could email but not browse. I lost almost all of my favorites list and the TotalAccess Taskbar is nowhere to be found. I tried the email support and the live chat but was only able to resolve the browsing problem. Can I just uninstall the upgrade and get back to where I was before?

 

I use TotalAccess 2005 and i never had any problems with it. The ad problem is not by TA 2005, its either an Ad-ware program running in the background. Earthlink never includes any spyware or adware.
