[Earlier version of Partition Magic (v5.0) safe to use on Windows XP?]

    I have an earlier version of Partition Magic (v5.0), which at the time it was issued runs under Windows NT. It supports NTFS5

    Is it safe to use this on XP Pro - both use the NTFS(5) file system - or are there things new to XP which would not be properly handled?

    Even the newest versions have the potential to destroy your data - so you always backup first.

    I wouldn't chance it running an older version.
