E-mail storage

Hello folks - I'm not too good at knowing what is the best
computer practices.
I have a need to do something different yet do not know how.

1. I use Outlook Express - do not want to use any other program.

2. I want to keep any and all e-mail I get (I get very little of that
junk or spam folks talk about - in fact none unless I have asked for it).

3. I can and have set up folders (within Outlook Express) and
store mail by sender, subject etc. It is a good system for me.

4. Now since 2001 the number of records are just too many.
Therefore I need help.

5. I can transfer "one" email at a time to hard drive - then to a CD
for storage. This is too time consumeing - I can never finish.

6. Is there a way to select all the files in a folder (in Outlook Express) and move them to a folder I set up on a hard drive?
Same as I can do using Windows Explorer to move multiple files around.
To date I can select all, but can only move (or copy) to a folder
in Outlook Express.

&. Simply stated I need a routine to store data to hard drive.
Removing it from Outlook Express.
From there I can burn a storage CD.

Thanks for your advice - and hey, I'll understand if it can't be done.

 

Take a look at OE Backup. I'm pretty sure it will do everything you're wanting to do.
