When I receive an e-mail back, my original message is returned but has > beside each line. Subsequent e-mail using the same mesage means lines can have many >>> in front. How do I get rid of them?

There are several "sharewares" that will remove them. I don't use the sharewares, but on important emails, I copy them to Word I use Edit->Find/Replace (find > and replace with blank)

If using OE, go to Tools Menu/Options/Send Tab/Plain Text settings and disable the ">" for messages.

You will have to encouracge others to to the same if you do not wish to receive replies as such.
