I use Office Outlook 2007, with Vista. When I click on a Link in an e-mail it leads lead to the message "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your system administrator~
I have followed suggestions in old threads (<Internet Exolorer/Tools/Internet Options/Advanced/Reset> ) but to no avail.
I also noted messages about going into Regedit, but did not attempt to follow since they might not apply to my operating system.

    Any suggestions, please ?

I see a lot of people viewed this, but no-one answered. If others have the same problem I found the answer elsewhere , maybe it's related to having once installed Google Chrome and then got rid of it; I had to go into Registry and change Chrome to htmlfile in a few places, and bingo. Sounds difficult, even worrying, but hey, its only a dumb machine.
