e mail help

    Hi, my question is, a few months ago i got dsl with verizon, I would like to know how when i sign on i can get my home page to tell me I have new mail, Verizon tells me I have to do this with my browers which is microsft internet explorer, could you tell me how to do that I can't seem to figure it out.

    After looking through the Verizon site, it appears that your Verizon home page has a button at the top labeled "Check My Email." I guess you have to click on that.

    I assume that if you use something other than Verizon's site for your homepage, that button isn't going to be there.

    Thanks Miz I do have that .but what i am looking to do is, for it to tell me i have mail (voice) You know like aol has, I don't want to have to check by going to my inbox.:(
