    Hey, what gives.
    We send out an ordinary e-mail.
    Then folks send back the question:

    Why do we receive your e-mail in such a poor format ?

    This is part of what they received.
    ----------------------------------------------------------
    "This is a multi-part message in MIME format.
    > Mime-Version: 1.0
    > Content-Type: multipart/mixed;
    boundary= "=======AVGMAIL-44647E303682======= "
    >
    > --=======AVGMAIL-44647E303682=======
    > Content-Type: multipart/related; type= "multipart/alternative ";
    boundary= "----=_NextPart_000_00BE_01C6751D.ED44D390 "
    -----------------------------------------------------------

    And then page after page of unknown stuff.
    With my original message inserted randomly sentence by sentence.
    And in just plain text.
    We sent an HTML formated message using
    Outlook Express that had a colorful background, embedded sound etc.

    Who is MIME anyway ?
    Seems she is messing up our mailings !

    Yet, we send the same mail to myself and all works great.

    jbarker--Just guessing that this has something to do with
    1) You use AVG antivirus and that it is scanning outgoing emails resulting in corruption of the message
    2) Your recipient uses AVG antivirus and that it is scanning incoming emails resulting in corruption of the message on their PC.
    Try turning AVG's email scanning off on your PC and see if this helps.
    What is MIME? I doubt it is important , but
    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MIME
    P.S. Is this happening with several recipients?

    Are you using a program like Outlook Express and your ISP email account when this happens or are you using web based mail like Excite Mail, Yahoo, etc. ?
