I have a problem when I send out e mail. I usually send a BC copy to myself when I write letters. I send several at a time. I use the Vallen E mail sender.www.vallen.de It works very well. I send the same letter to about 80 folks. It is easy and works really well. Being free does no harm. But when I receive my copy it bears no resemblance to the manner in which I wrote it. Indentations , paragraphs, sentences truncated. All is there but it look bad on my machine My son says her receives them just fine. This make me suspect some settings are wrong here at this end.
This is true with both of my computers. If I send them as a word attachment they are fine, but I don't want to jam other peoples mail boxes with extra attachments and some simply will not open them Any suggestions?

Dear Daizy, No I have not.Everything is factually in the letter, but it arrives in a very scattered manner when I dispay it on either of my computers. A few others have said the same thing. If I send it as an attachment it is opended just as I wrote it in Word.

after looking at the Vallen mailer - it seems your problem is the fact you doing them in word.

    to quote the emailer program...

E-Mails can either be sent as plain/text or combined html/text a
nd plain/text mails. The text is to be created in any Text / HTML Editor and then copied via clipboard into the appropriate tabs.

It doesn't mention rtf so I would assume you have to do this as plain text - ie NOTEPAD , or in a html version(with all the tags and html stuff included)

remeber Word adds a whole heap of other information to its files - all that formatting and stuff - so its having a problem interpreting that.

Try turning off word wrap in the mail client. Many email apps really butcher plain text, including OE. For instamce, plain txt m,ail sent by OE is nor "reallY plain txt because MSOE uses a proprietary type of txt formatting for email that will scre* up spaces, line breaks and tabs.

Your mail client should have a setting for word wrap or similar.
