Resolved DVI to HDMI Connection

    I'm considering getting a monitor which has no dedicated DVI connection. It has 2 HDMI connections but the monitor specs states is has DVI connection when you use a DVI to HDMI cable. The monitor instructions also indicate when using this connection, go into the menu and change the HDMI port connection to DVI-PC. Will this setup make the connection as if it were an actual DVI to DVI connection?
