dvd regions all in wonder

    Hi
    I have an ATI All in Wonder card, AGP 32 meg. I have not used the dvd untill today. I am in Canada and the card was purchased in Canada but the DVD software insists it is in region 2. I reinstalled the ATI software and made sure to check region 1 but when I ckick DVD it still insists it is region 2. I haave an LG DVD/CD drive.
    Please help me

    You may need to do this :

    Right Click My Computer icon on Desktop > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager.

    Locate your DVD drive > highlight > right click > Properties > DVD Region Tab and set it to Region 1

    I tried your suggestion unfortunatly the last tab (DVD region) was
    not there.

    Shame - obviously different drives have different attributes - mine is a Mat****a (Pioneer or Panasonic - can't remember and no indication on facia). I am running XP Pro - maybe other OS's are different.

    Suggest you log onto the LG/ATI web sites or email tech support.

    Might be worth removing the drive in device manager and rebooting to let Windows find it again

    Edit

    I see the BBS has edited out part of the name of my drive as an 'offensive' word, but it's unimportant anyway.
