We have an Outlook 2003 that is showing two data files that are the same file. When we try to delete one of them (in Data File Management), it does not permit it because it is the default delivery location, AND when we try to delete the other, it cannot because it is associated with an email account. Because both are there, Outlook is being confused and not handling incoming or outgoing mail properly.

Can anyone help us fix this?

    TIA, JIM

choose "email account" from the tool menu, view your email account, you will see two personal data file in the listbox, just point the data file you want email stored, then you can delete the other data file. have a try!
