In the Guest Account of XP, I am not able to use the dial-up networking connections I created in the Administrator's account, and of course I can't create new ones from within the guest account because of its user rights.

I want the guest account to be very limited, like it was designed, but I want to let guests jump on the interent through DUN. Thus, it would defeat the purpose of the guest account to grant it additional rights in order to let it use the DUN connections. Any ideas? Thanks.

    Fairly new on XP but...

You should be able to set the Guest as accessable to limited (NAMED) options, and in using that, DUN could be one of them.

But in so doing, it should NOt defeat the security configuration.
Try it and see how it goes...
From what I can read, Most people prefer to set up Admin as God level, and the other accounts have diminishing access to progs, files, archives, etc. etc.
Since you are the administrator, it is up to you to decide how much or how little access to each and every single prog individuals have.

Dial up networking is disabled in the guest account. You'll have to set up a limited account.
