I have this data generated from Joe's program. This problem is killing me. I know the application which is causing the crashes, but it only occurs on the one computer. The program runs fine on any other computer (same and various MS operating systems), so the program does not appear (to me - a novice) to be the problem. I have reinstalled Windows 2000 and upgraded to the latest BIOS. Nothing works. This is when I began to search the internet and found this site. Someone please help me here.

Info: The application is used to control a spectrum analyzer via USB. The application came bundled with the spectrum analyzer (hardware). The machine is Windows 2000 running on a Tyan S2099 Trinity i845E motherboard.

The video drivers for your ATI card on this machine are out of date. You'll need to update them, either from windows update, or by looking on the vendors webpage.
