I have two Hanns G 19" widescreen monitors connected to an ASUS EN7300LE video card. For some reason I can't set each monitor to have the same resolution.

My primary display is set to 1440x900 which looks perfect. I cannot set the secondary display to this resolution. The closest I can get is 1330x768 or 1600x900.

Can someone help me out? Am I doing something wrong? Why can't I set both monitors to 1440x900?

I suspect that is a limitation of the card.

Not that you can not run the same resolution, but more likely the combined resolution can not exceed certain levels.

I'm curious to know if you've tried them both at the same resolution, but at a much lower resolution for each?

This may be a substantial draw back to powering dual monitors from a budget single card.

I've reviewed the manufacturer web page for it, and it does not specify any resolution capacities (which I find odd).

If this is new, I would suggest contacting ASUS support and inquire if you're missing a driver or have something configured wrong, or ask them what the combined resolution maximum / combination limits are.
