Dual Monitor from a Laptop

    I am about to purchase a new laptop and docking station for work to replace my current workstation. It will either be a Dell or Compaq/HP.

    I have a dual monitor video card at the moment and use the second screen quite alot. Can anyone tell me if it is possible to have the same set up with a laptop docking station? Dell and HP websites arent very helpful.

    My companies Latitudes automatically do dual when connected to their docking stations. Just can't use the platform that comes with the docking station to hold the external monitor.
