dual bootup and sharing problem

    hi guys i m runing windows 2000 professional and updated into service pack 4 i have noticed when i restart my pc and check drives c and d by default sharing and then i disable sharing and when again i restart the pc it agains sharing the drives so i m confiusing how to disbale sharing drives by default. and then i want to install dual bootup i want to install windows 2003 on second drive d how to do it and how to run 2 os win2000 and windows2003 in same pc .

    Can't disable the default admin sharing of drive roots on 2K pro.

    Just install 2003. It should see the 2K install so just put it on a different drive/partition and you'll be dual boot.
