I have a new Dell and I have two hard drives installed. The host operating system on the machine is Vista Home Premium. I want to install XP on the second hard drive and then obviously have a dual boot system so I can choose which OS I want to load each time the computer is turned on. Has anyone tried this with XP and Vista? I am getting mixed comments. Some people tell me don't do it because Vista doesn't handle dual boot systems very well. Others say just try it and see what happens. Which I don't want to do. Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

I dual booted Vista RC1 & 2 with XP. It worked fine. Didn't bother with the final version. Took the plunge and worked through an initial couple of bugs with Vista. But I did have (still do) an Acronis True Image back up of XP incase things went pearshaped!
