DSL Connections

    On my laptop i have win xp and a ADSL modem, also in same room i have a PC with win xp and separate ADSL modem. can anyone please tell me if there is any way for both computers to be connected to the internet at the same time without the use of networking

    Mike had it - unless you have two seperate DSL accounts which would get expensive. In fact, if you are renting both your modems, it may be getting expensive now.

    The networking piece is easy enough to do though and if you'd like some help with that, just say so. A software solution is already on your PCs so no cost for that (except maybe a different patch cord which is cheap) - just a matter of setting it up. A hardware solution that is pretty much plug & play would only run you about $50-$60 as a one time expense. In either case, you could get rid of one of the modems.
