I have a Gnet BB0060 DSL modem and a Linksys WRT54GS router. So far I have been able to connect the modem as a bridge to the router. However, the internet will drop out a few times a day. For the router to be able to reconnect to the internet again, I have to turn the modem off then back on again. Is this due to a setting in the router or modem, or something else?
    Thanks,
    Chris

Do you lose connection while using the pc? Or does it drop when you are away from the pc? If it happens when away, look at the properties of the network adaptor and turn off the power saver feature.

Do you really need the bridge?

There's a setting in the router for how long the dsl connection is maintained.
