DSL and dialers?

    I don't know anything about DSL. Are DSL users subject to the dialer threat?

    I think I've gotten a friend to shut off ActiveX on his new machine, which I believe will eliminate the threat anyway, but I don't think he's convinced about ActiveX. Can I hold the dialer "club" over his head to get his attention?:D

    AFAIK, dialers target voice grade telephone lines.

    The following are two examples of dialer warining, both of which don't mention DSL and write about telephone 900 #'s
