Drivers for Ethernet [HP DX 6120]

Hi guys

I hope you can help me,
I have a HP desktop pc, model DX 6120..
Pentium 4, windows Xp

I recently formatted the pc and reloaded windows, problem is I dont have my mother board cd, I tried downloading so many different type of drivers from the Hp website http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/SoftwareIndex.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodNameId=456581&prodTypeId=12454&prodSeriesId=456580&swLang=13&taskId=135&swEnvOID=1093

but it was not successful. I need drivers for the ethernet and Lan, I hope u guys can help me....

In the past HP have supplied "proprietary" drivers. The main drivers are supplied with the machine when you buy it, the drivers at their website are only updates and not the original drivers. To get the original drivers, you may need to purchase the drivers disk from HP. Read through the manual/User Guide or search at their website for how reinstall Windows and the drivers.

Have you installed the Intel Chipset Support for Windows? If those won't install, the drivers are probably proprietary.
